🤯 ChatGPT Is going to put millions in the Dark
The most important thing that's happened in 2022 ... happened!
AI is going to permanently change how everything works.
If you're not paying attention, you could be out of a job very soon. Businesses, monopolies and entire professions could be obsolete in a matter of years (If they don't reinvent themselves).
Or just maybe you can benefit from being an early adopter.
It will be an incredibly disruptive technology going forward.
ChatGPT is to Artificial Intelligence TODAY what Google was to us in 1998.
I played around with ChatGPT (a new AI tool) recently. It blew my mind 🤯 in ways I cannot describe. What's more I believe we are only scratching the surface of its full functionality.
I have not been this excited since discovering Bitcoin in late 2017.
ChatGPT may have only launched ~30 days ago, but it has already nestled its way into my life already like an affectionate robot that I won’t stop pestering. (It is way better than Siri.)
ChatGPT is a product created by OpenAI, an organization formed by Elon Musk, Sam Altman, and others in 2015. It raised $1 billion from Microsoft in 2019 and is currently valued at around $20 billion.
Why is chat GPT better than Alexa and Siri?
It is a conversational dialogue model trained by AI and machine learning. It answers and understands human language and responds in the same manner. It gets its name from gpt (generative pre-trained transformer) it’s a deep learning model with three or more layers of a neural network. This network stimulates the behavior like a human brain would do. It can read, write, tell stories, emulate personalities, recite poems or even tell a joke (you can ask it to improve the jokes if you don't find them funny). Then how it’s better than Alexa or Siri? Well, chatGPT will remember the conversation. It will even admit its mistake, challenge premises, or even decline to answer sometimes.
ChatGPT reached 1M users just five days after it launched, a feat that took Instagram two and half months, and Spotify 5 months.
Here’s how long it took other products to reach 1 million users:
Netflix - 41 months
Twitter - 24 months
Facebook - 10 months
This puts ChatGPT’s virality into perspective (5 days!)
OpenAI is also the company behind DALL-E, the deep learning generative art program whose creations have gone viral thousands of times.
Why is ChatGPT important? It can eliminate hours of research, sort through millions of data points, and even write research papers.
And it can do something no other search engine has been able to do before: Take in information and form coherent opinions about topics that require nuanced thinking.
Here are a few incredible use cases people have discovered:
Learning. Imagining having a world-class expert in every subject available to chat with at any time.
Debugging code. You can ask it to fix your coding or add any lines you're unsure of.
A personal assistant. It is way more fun than Google!
For myself, ChatGPT will drastically eliminate research time.
Instead of digging through a 10-Q for several minutes, I could just ask the app to find a specific number for me in an instant. It’s like having a super-powered research assistant.
To understand how good the AI is, I tested its ability for my article. I tested its capability across a bunch of competencies like; Strategic thinking, Tactical understanding, Ability to ideate, Ability to write & Technical basics.
Here's what I found:
I asked the AI to give me titles for my article.
ChatGPT makes it much easier to find information instantly. With Google, you often have to sort through information to find the “right” answer, skipping over search results that are engineered & gamed by marketers to show up on the first page. This takes ALOT of Time!
ChatGPT does all of that for us.
I wanted it to specify further:
Being incredibly demanding on my assistant, I wanted something fancier:
I didn't know how to add a html code to Wordpress, so I asked a technical question:
I asked for an introduction to my article:
I asked it to SEO optimize:
I asked it to write the article:
All of this took me 5 minutes. In the real world, all of this would probably take at least 5-10 hours.
But how good are the answers?
I'd rank it as a 5/10.
The equivalent of a knowledgeable assistant with 1-2 years of experience earning around $50k/year.
Not excellent, but definitely more competent than an intern.
Here's why that's impressive:
The AI is as capable as an SEO marketer with 1-2 years of experience. It did for free what the SEO marketer would have charged $50k/year for. The AI did in 5 minutes what would have taken the SEO marketer at least a day.
The most impressive part: This is just the beginning!
We're only seeing the first iteration of a technology that is likely going to improve by many orders of magnitude in the coming years.
It might replace you. Or it might end up 10x ing your productivity.
Too early to tell.
Its adoption is being accelerated by the creativity of makers who have built new products that blend the AI chatbot into our work tasks and productivity tools.
Here are some of them...

AI could make interns/freelancers/assistances a thing of the past.
It feels more human because it analyzes your writing style and learns from it. Replies grow to look and feel like they came from you. It can grab pieces of context throughout your input for specific attention and you can dictate the tone, such as casual, respectful, or annoyed. It can format the response in another language.
Better with age: The thing about AI is that it’s like a cast iron pan — the more it’s used, the better it gets. We anticipate its accuracy and human-ness will get better with more users.
ChatGPT is also coming to more platforms; the makers are quickly working to incorporate it into many more platforms.
Pretty soon, we'll all have Jarvis on our iPhones.
Can't Wait!
